OCIA: Order of Christian Initiation of Adults
OCIA stands for Order of Christian Initiation of Adults and is a Christian formation offered to those seeking to become Catholic. Participants in the RCIA program are known as catechumens. They undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Communion.
- If you are baptized Catholic but have been away from the church and are in need of sacraments,
- If you have never been baptized and would like to become a member of the Catholic Church,
- If you are Catholic and would like to know more about the Catholic Church,
- If you are questioning your faith.
We welcome you to join us and learn about the Catholic Church and form a closer relationship with God.
Classes are every other Sunday in both English (Location: Parish Office, 3307 S. 10th St.), Spanish (Location: St. Helen Church hall, 3329 S. 10th St.), Fee: $75.00 are is NON-REFUNDABLE. Please fill out the RCIA registration form and return both form and payment to the parish office.
