Confirmation is one of the seven sacraments, in this sacrament candidates receive the Holy Spirit and become adult members of the Catholic Church.

Students who are sixteen years old and a junior in high school are eligible to participate in St. John Paul II Confirmation Program.

Since students this age are mature enough to make their own decision about receiving this sacrament, the students are responsible for their own work, independent of their parents. However, parents are encouraged to support their child and be present through the preparation process.

Preparation begins in the Candidate's sophomore year of high school and continues until the beginning of 11th Grade. Students, during their Confirmation Preparation will firm up their knowledge of the Creed and the Sacraments.

The Parish also offers  9th grade Rel. Ed classes.
